価格からして実験的に買ってみたが意外にもまとも…というよりS●NYの同種のものより優秀
初期導入時に問題なのが一旦Wi-Fiのアドホックモードでデバイスを登録してWi-Fiのパスを転送し
その後、インフラストラクチャーモードでWI-Fi経由で様々なデバイスからコントロールするのが
一連のやり方だがここの連携で失敗が多いが、本機はこれも1台づつ順序良く登録すれば問題なく
終えることができる。
（自動登録は失敗なのと、手動登録の時、複数のデバイス仕様から選択するのがわかりにくいのが減点1）
S●NYはどうやってもアドホックから抜け出せずBTコントロールしか対応しない。APPのレビュー
でも複数のユーザーから同種のエラー報告がありながらも改善の見込みなしなので（どうやら
ルーターを選ぶらしいWirelessFidelityじゃないWi-FiらしいｗそももそORION電機の合作な時点で…）
その点、本機は説明書要らずのインストールが可能。今後デバイスの買い増し時も「壁スイッチを
カチカチ→早点滅→アプリ起動→ダイアログに従う→完了」暗記できる操作方法で良いので便利である。
正直、国産のスマートデバイスは乗り遅れに遅れ完全蚊帳の外にある状態。
よく言われるのがスマートコントロール必要か？のような頭の悪いコメントがあるがそれは全く論点が
ズレており「出来る仕様で使わない」のは正解で、「出来なくても問題ない」は間違いである。

電球の色をいじっているとWiFiの接続が落ち設定しなおなければいけなくなります。安いから仕方がないのかな？
機能としては良好ですが、接続の手間が大きいのでその点が致命的です。

I ordered these to sit in two adjacent lights, but unfortunately the lights had slightly different colour/brightness when on identical settings. I didn't complain but just observed the fact in my feedback. Torkase picked up on my feedback immediately, contacted me directly, apologised profusely, and offered a replacement pair, with no need to return the originals (which work fine individually). This is what good customer service looks like, so I will be making Torkase my go-to vendor for these types of product.

finally some good bulbs!!

This is my 4th order on amazon for some good bulbs

I have tried..

LUVWIT - makes a buzzing sound constantly even when switched off
Teckin - one of the bubs would not connect to my router
Bakibo - never received the order was damaged

These bulbs connected with ease, of all bulbs I have used these have the brightest colours. The build quality is good.

Response time beats all of the above and the smart life app works well with these bulbs as some of the other bulbs do not show an on/off switch.

Would highly recommend.

Updated. July 2021... both have been returned as they lost connection and then one died altogether.

These are brilliant. Just installed and was very easy to do so. Alexa will change the colours for you. The smart app also allows you to set your favourite brightness or warmth colour for white and saves it. I've even managed to group them together so they work in tandem. Alexa doesn't however control the disco effect. That has to be done through the smart app. Easy for one bulb but for two you need to group them together and save a tap to run option. You can also add more colours to the disco from the colour wheel too. I have to say they are great. Plan to use the colours for Xmas and Halloween etc.

Nice light, temperamental WiFi/connection

Used this in an uplighter in my living room that I wanted to be able to run on a schedule when away from home and also adjust the brightness, having the ability to adjust the warmth and colour were nice to haves. The smart life app makes this easy, it comes with some preset modes and let's you pick a colour or warmth for the white light intuitively. Schedules were also simple to set up, though I've not actually used them in anger yet.

Setting it up was harder than I expected. After installing the smart life app you have to turn the light on and off 3 times to put it into pairing mode. This failed to detect the bulb on auto so i tried the manual pairing, which also failed. After many attempts it just worked, no idea why, I'd done nothing I hadn't tried before. But at that point figured it wasn't so bad, at least it was working and I could control the light from the smart life app on my phone.

2 days later I turned the light on and the smart life app said the device was offline. I tried turning it off and on again, restarting my phone, unplugging the lamp, restarting my router. In the end I swapped the bulb for the other one in the pack and... had to go through similar pain to when I set up the first, but eventually got it working too...

A few more days and... smart life app reports the device is offline again. Again I've tried turning things off and on but have had no joy. The light is on at a nice warm colour and that's fine... for now, I don't actually want to change it. But am really frustrated that I can't change it, which means I've lost the ability to change the brightness and its really too dim for reading. At which point I've decided to write this review...

Short shelf life

Once paired this light works brilliantly, the whites are particularly bright and the colours are soothing. I bought these in June 20, but they are now starting to fail.
They either continuously switch from warm white to cold white or simply fail to light up at all.

I expected these to last at least 3 or more years. So I am disappointed.
