True Blackout Curtains

These are not the prettiest of curtains, but I didn't buy for looks but function. If you're looking for a true blackout curtain, these are the ones for you. I bought for my toddler's room, as she seems sensitive to light when she sleeps, and these have definitely done the trick. And they're significantly cheaper than other blackout curtains that don't seem to do the job as well. Highly recommend.

Peels and sticks to itself after first wash (after following washing instructions on the product). Shame on you, Amazon, for selling something of such low quality.

Al principio creía que iban a ser como cualquier otra cortina, con problemas para retener la luz, pensé que la tela se iba a ver demasiado sencilla o cualquier otro mal pensamiento, sin embargo debo reconocer que es la mejor elección que pude hacer las cortinas están super padres no se traspasa nada de luz solar(absolutamente nada) y la tela y el material está super bueno. 100% recomendable

Llevo poco con el producto y la verdad es que la decisión fue la ideal, adquirir este producto porque mis horarios laborales son diferidos y cuando laboró en la tarde quiero dormir un poco más pero no podía porque el sol literal me daba en la cara, con estas cortinas ya no sucede esto, ataja muy bien la luz solar, la habitación se mantiene a una mejor temperatura, ahora el problema es que se me hace tarde para ir al trabajo...

These dark navy curtains were the first thing I picked out for my son’s space themed room. I was then able to select a matching paint colour for the ceiling from Sherwin-Williams. They are completely blackout, which is perfect for a toddler’s room. They worked well with the Umbra Twilight double rod, although I had to hang them upside down since the rod pockets on the edges were a bit tight. Luckily, the ones on the bottom side were perfect; it’s not noticeable at all that they’re hanging upside down. There was also the option of using the second row of rod pockets that would leave a ruffle at the top, however I had already bought sheer curtains to hang behind them in the exact same size so these would have stuck out from the bottom. So much to consider but it all worked out!

I think these (or probably any blackout curtains) only work well when there are no gaps between the curtain and the wall. This might sound a bit extreme, but I used heavy-duty double-sided tape and small nails to attach the outer edges to the wall of my bedroom. I also have a roll-down blackout blind, so with these 2, my room is pretty dark (but I would prefer pitch black).

I was actually shocked by the quality of these curtains for the extremely low price.
I've had them up for a few weeks now and most of the packaging creases are gone.
I could have used my iron on low setting with a towel to erase but I wanted to give a true product review.
I haven't washed them yet but when I do I will put them in a mesh bag in cold water wash so as not to damage blackout side.
My bedroom becomes totally dark with these blinds. My windows are short so the length I picked is perfect and with pets in the house the bottom of the blinds don't get dirty. I don't have to lift them to vacuum.
You can take a damp cloth to dust them off.

I'm very happy with these curtains. I washed them in warm water and tumble dried on low, then took them out immediately. They washed up very nicely with no issues of the backing coming off like some have described. They really do a great job of blocking out light and I like that the backing is white so the curtain colour cannot be seen from the street. Very good quality! Pleased and would buy again.

not only are they great curtains but they also included something i have never seen except on drapes made by specialists.. they also contain the holders to keep the curtains open.. for the price these are fantastic.. would order again if i needed them...
"Update" ... I have had these for quite awhile now and just love them.. I have washed them a few times and they are still as great as the day I bought them.. I want to buy them again but not available. These ARE worth the money and do a GREAT job !!

Very heavy. Thick nice quality curtains. Keeps the light out and for me more importantly keeps the cold out. Only things I would advise is make sure you have a decent curtain rod ...... I'm using a really cheap one and it is bowing a bit in the middle from the weight. And also the fold marks were REALLY obvious but a quick spin in the dryer fixed it right up . The tie backs are a nice touch and make the windows look very classy
