It was nice and refreshing to read this story in which the hero showed his love for h silently by not sleeping with another after their one night together. I know it's unbelievable, still it's not impossible either. There is no telling when one truly loves another.
The misunderstanding seemed to drag but it built the tension and was plausible. with her mother's words to and about him, I can understand why he did what he did . The same goes for her, she wasn't a pushover but a confused, young woman in love yet strong. He pushed her away twice, it took a lot of courage and only true love could compel her to act the way she did.
And the ending was just fantastic, another favorite of mine beside The Sheik's Secret Twins.
Beautifully written, lovely setting details and well written characters. A very enjoyable read. Only criticism is that the big sex scene is a bit unrealistic.
This was so confusing. They would have a reference to an incident and I had no idea what they were talking about until like 2 chapters later when I had already forgotten what they had talked about. The same goes for the flashbacks, they would be in a scene and then flashback for like 10 pages and when you returned to the present, you forgot what the heroine or hero was doing. They did pine for each other for a long time. The way I see it is after he started having feelings for her when she was 16 to his 26, he slept around to try not to have feelings for her. After the incident at 17, he may have slept with other women but since taking her virginity at 19, he has been faithful to her even though he thought she was sleeping with other guys. She is about 23 1/2 years old when the story starts out. That is a long time for him but he says that when you love a woman the way he loves her then it is not hard to stay faithful to her memory. I loved that and wished other heroes thought that.
